Ideas Generation Development Logs

I will be running through generation of assets for my game, all assets will be drawn before modeled.

Hut.jpgI first designed structures and weapons so I could get all of the base work done, adding shading of colour instead of just spending time colouring in full just going over the lines allowed me to see what the colour orientation will look like when i begin to un-wrap this model. The colours are used and inspired by images that I found around the web. I made this building with the ability to removed assets that i built inside allowing me to reuse this structure.Tools .jpg

The weapons I made where found on a Image which i redesigned and used the same techniques as I did with the structure. I am really impressed with the weapons I have drawn and have began modeling a few of them.Armour.jpg

The character armour creation using a base template made by (Lost the link for him). Making the armour while looking at images I got inspiration for a nice hide outfit with bones as leg and arm armour. The character also has a mask to give him a scary effect when you see him, atmosphere will be built up when you acquire new masks and armour.

I designed this scene for later development adding in terrain diversity allows player to enjoy a vast open game. I will differently be adding to the game and modeling it in and making a point of interest for the player. I love the river running underneath the raised terrain gives it such a natural look and feel for the player.

Hud Version 2.jpgCreating my Hud for my game, giving it a look and feel of tribal with very mellowed down colours. Adding a sundial to make the time setting so player know what the time is in game.
