Construct 2 Games:
I will be shows some games developed by people using the program Construct 2. These games are all made with simple ideas in mine and have 1 clear goal.
The first game i will be talking about is a game called “Resume Run” the aim of the game is to collect resumes then deliver them to the correct NPC or Boss as they are called before the timer runs out. If you manage to deliver a high amount of resumes you will get hired by that boss.
The game is simple but complex at the same time, it tried to put a spin on timed games by adding in obstacles making it harder for you to get there in time. I played the game for a good amount of time and found it really fun to play. Its idea is cool and the art is simple but good looking.
This game gives me some ideas to help with games i have had in mind, by adding in times, Objectives and obstacles.
The second game I will be talking about is a little game called “Bouncing Tank” it is simple you bound and shoot the planes while bouncing and try not to get hit by the planes and losing a life. The art in the game is simple but give a old time feel with the Dark sandy colour back ground.
I would say this game would not be hard to make because of its simple design and aim, it is really well done though and has a funny feel to it. The game works well and runs smoothly giving you the feeling of impatience as yo wait for the next plan to come for you to destroy.
